| It is no secret that America has a crisis in health care where nearly 50 million uninsured people in this country. The story of John Q. is about their battle to save the life of his son when the hospital and health insurance companies have failed her young son for refusing to put his name on the list of heart transplant. Two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington does its best to bring life to this character than any other actor would not be able to do. Kimberly Elise is also admirable in his role as his wife. | It was a very good movie. It made me mourn and still left a surprise in the end. I think that nobody likes to see Denzel. Shows how parents can be desperate when it comes to their children. There was one thing I did not like and that was the end. |
| This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long, long time. Poorly written, the machine, and obvious. This film: John Q tries to show that there is a real problem with HMOs and hospitals that are trying to make a profit, but the dialogue as "My word is my bond," How can you take seriously? Not only this John Q movie can not come to me, I found myself laughing through the most dramatic scenes. As to what some medical procedures that have proven, if ever bother to watch ER, (or St. Elsewhere), you can detect errors. Do not bother with this film. I would recommend to people if they hated me. |
