| I just recently saw the Philadelphia movie after watching the special edition DVD for sale at only £ 5.99. I bought it and watched it as soon as it took home and thought it was amazing. The direction of Jonathan Demme was too large. but the two best things about Tom Hanks served as counsel to aid and Bruce Springsteen's song "Streets of Philadelphia." I always thought that the performance of Liam Neeson in Schindler's List was what should have received the Oscar in 1993. But when Philadelphia finally saw a few weeks ago, I could see why Hanks won. Denzel Washington as the homophobic lawyer of support but also is great. The three, Hanks, Demme Washington and make a good team. The DivX film Philadelphia is wonderful. |
| This Philadelphia movie was a big fan fantastic.I'm Tom Hanks. This was one of those films that show if an actor really knows how to act. Denzel Washington, in my opinion, should have won the "Actor" in 1993 was exceptional because the film. I liked to see this DivX Movie Philadelphia because it made you laugh and mourn and very few films that do. Tom Hanks is the only player to win two consecutive "Best Actor" awards (Philadelphia and Forrest Gump) and I think that Philadelphia was the start of his career at the top action. In conclusion, a rate 10 to Philadelphia and I recommend to all fans of Tom Hanks. |
| There is a moment in the movie: Philadelphia in which I looked into the eyes of his character and thought that Tom Hanks was gay. The commitment is monumental in its performance. The Philadelphia Drama film is an episode of "The Practice" and not necessarily one of the best but I feel too happy if I put "Philadelphia" on. Never fails to bring tears to my eyes. I loved Hanks in part because he believed so completely. The casting of Joanne Woodward is a stroke of genius. What an extraordinary actress. His brief but much perfect, moving, beautiful portrait adds layers and layers to the character of Hanks. Complete our understanding of him because of it. Denzel Washington is very fun to watch and as good as he is not yet warmed to it. There is something there that confuses me. Convincingly in "Training Day" unconvincing "The Preacher's Wife" Banderas is beautiful, although it is difficult to imagine that in a "Law of Desire" scene with Tom Hanks. I am sure that a little more clarity about their relationship could have raised this Philadelphia movie in a good one, but probably have not done a lot of money. I'm not sure I made myself clear, I am recommending the film. I am, all repairs are mine. Pay no attention. Hanks at his best phenomenal, Joanne Woodward and Bruce Springsteen. Of course I recommend it. |
| Many people are homophobic (or even fear, just do not like) and not as people with AIDS. But I think even the most puritan of the population who could have the first step in changing the minds that are, especially if they are fans of the actors. Philadelphia is a common type of theaters, however, has an item on its side (2 to be precise) that probably no other Philadelphia film before 1993, there were gay with the AIDS virus. Tom Hanks plays a lawyer who was allegedly shot by his company due to the fact that it aids. Then get another lawyer, played a good supporting role by Denzel Washington, to defend him and sue the company. Although at times can be set aside, the film: Philadelphia is often in the right way and take it as a process-intelligent, primarily by the director Demme. One of the best films of 1993.
