| This is a moving story of a man whose wife, a soldier killed in Iraq, and almost unbearable in its task of telling her two daughters, aged 9 and 12, the terrible news. John Cusack played the part of the husband of the dead woman and the father of girls, excellent. I tried to get into position, having to break the news of the death of his mother to two young men, and almost brought me to tears, as the end of the DivX film Grace Is Gone really. This Grace Is Gone Drama movie is a tribute to the young Americans who fight and sometimes die in the country and for the families of those waiting for their return, when sometimes the wait is in vain. If a war is just or unjust war, or if it is useless debacle, young men and women die while carrying out what is in your mind, your duty. The validity of the way detracts from his war heroism. |
| John Cusack was excellent in this role. I saw a side of him than I ever expected possible. His characters tend to be intelligent and witty sarcasm Undertones, but this Grace Is Gone Drama film shows a side of his versatility that has never appeared before. Plays a father of two children who have difficulty finding common ground. His military background makes it very little in common between himself and his daughters. The devastating loss of his wife and mother of his children, the strength of this character in a place that few have ever been. After a childhood of emotional absents, their children, finally, see the softer side of his father as he struggles to tell of the untimely death of his mother. He was truly an emotional roller coaster. |
