Ray Ferrier is a dock worker who is finishing a night of work in the morning, because he works the night shift. But when he gets home his young daughter Rachel and teenage son Robbie are staying with him at his house in Bayonne, New Jersey, while his pregnant ex-wife Mary Anne and her new husband Tim visit her parents in Boston for the weekend. But then the unthinkable and, ultimately, the unexpected happens to him in an extraordinary sense! Witnessing, and barely escaping the horror, first-hand, it's up to Ray to protect his two kids from terrorist and races up to Boston before one of them gets murdered by a large tripod machine in its path!

I saw this film, only on Sunday, and I'm here to make comments. Do not get me wrong is a good film, but it seems that the budget is so low that the "foreign" seemed sorta like those in "Independence Day". Otherwise, however, it appeared that Tom Cruise could have strangled their children in this movie! Especially Robbie, his son in the movie. Mr. Cruise was a little, uh, psycho in this movie. And the girl crying and screaming too, I understand she was 10 and fear (probably his father, also ...) But there's a line there and that has crossed ... Back on the topic of "foreigners", I thought having the same width as the head in "Independence Day" and some even appear in the "Alien". Now that all my opinion, maybe I did not pay much attention, but it seems familiar ... Now please do not misunderstand me, I liked the movie, but I want to see some different "foreign" or in a different head "foreigners." ~*~*~*~ GF ~*~*~*~
