| I have a friend here in Baton Rouge, La. I was very anxious to see this movie, so for her 38th birthday (which was actually on August 22) I decided to take it and pay all the admission and . Jim Croce from the beginning with "I Got a Name" to the exciting final touchdown with Vince Papale's triumph in his first regular game at home, this DVD film Invincible was an inspiration! Mark Wahlberg has a good job representing the sad-sack Philadelphia. Greg Kinnear is just as good as a former college football coach, taking a chance on a single "open tryout" player who only made the high school games. The best scenes are those that occur during the first regular season game at the stadium in Dallas Cowboy and then the first regular game at home against the New York Giants (who's girlfriend Janet Vince supports). Indeed, a friend of my birthday really enjoyed this Invincible Drama and in order of my recommendation, by all means try this one! |
