| This was just a terrible movie. The fault lies entirely with the writers, the script used either hand-rolling comedy (receiving coaching at a time through a headset and microphone body) and "mood", in the best case, it might be compared with the jokes and pranks that you write for awards. Jack Black (High Fidelity) is generally a comic actor, but is hampered by some of the worst dialogue material in his career. The film's lone bright moment was the performance of Amanda Peet ... facial expressions and dialogue were perfect for ice function. It is not often that I turn off a movie: Saving Silverman halfway through, but that date coaching is too much. Do not waste your time and pray that those involved did not suffer too much for this travesty. |

Judith believed to be an enemy than Darth Vader, Wayne and JD kidnap the bitch and fake his death, the hope that Darren - who now is a sad exuse for a man - and moves to revive their interest in Sandy (Amanda Detmer), Darren's lost love from high school who has returned to the city to take their vows as a nun! | If you wern't so late with people sleeping in the next room, I would have peed my pants laughing so hard. Some parts of this Saving Silverman Romance film are so funny you can not laugh, because actually no laughing express the feeling that you get from the movie. Steve Zahn, Jack Black and Jason Biggs play without success (especially in the romance) old school friends. They have an unbreakable friendship (as will be seen in the film), sometimes they will go completely drastic measures to fight for each other. But throughout this Saving Silverman Romance film is to be all happy, and stay united. Of course this is just another of those movies that comes out each year with the same argument but I guarantee that if you are eagering for a good laugh (soundproof walls recommended) then this. It's fun at random, the characters are cute and stupid, it'll leave you want to go for hours! I mean where else can find a Saving Silverman film with lines like "who ate it! |
| this Saving Silverman Romance film judging by the comments was one of those where you love or hate. I decided to see why Jack Black and Steve Zahn are two of the funniest actors out there at the moment, so I thought this would have great potential. Comedy films can still work with silly stories which is what he had, but then, they need a clever script and cutting to compensate this Saving Silverman movie is obviously not what we had. They can try, and there were some funny scenes, Black, Biggs and Zahn could never get the third DivX Movie Saving Silverman speed. This is watchable and is probably better to do with a bunch of colleagues after returning from a whip on all night, but in the cold light of day, there are very few good gags and scenes to recommend this. |
| When "Saving Silverman" first came into the theater, I was totally psyched to see it. Unfortunately in my local cinema, it was only two weeks and did not get to see him immediately. Do not let the silly short life, however. It may lack the creativity and all that jazz, but when you need a laugh, Silverman delivery. His story is based on virtue "bros before hoes," or at least Jack Black and Steve Zahn try to keep it that way. We've all had a friend that horrible girlfriend or boyfriend, so it is good for relationships. I think it will not be the kidnapping of his girlfriend in a bath or drenching sauce anytime soon, but it's nice to let your imagination go sometimes. Do not stop laughing. Very quotable. Jack Black.
