| this Cheaper by the Dozen movie would not be. POSSIBLE SPOILERS HERE BEYOND ........... To begin with, the children gave the term "undisciplined" an understated way. They were just barbaric! Where were the rules? When I was 12 and 13, did not vomit on the floor and leave him there. When I was 8 and 9 are not going to throw birthday parties and food, the game of hockey at home, and certainly did not break everything in sight! Also, the father left his job because the children are not happy? Uh ....... HELLO! Life is full of changes and instead of making it unbearable for everyone around them, they need to give it a try and learn to adjust! The only thing that made an ounce of sense was mom stop his book tour to come home and help. If you have applied the discipline, chaos would have ceased. Some of these children were old enough to know better and younger, which should have applied standards. I saw this because I am a Steve Martin fan. Believe me, if not for him and Bonnie Hunt, I would have left the theater before the Cheaper by the Dozen Family was over. They and they alone are worth the money. Nothing else! |
| I bought this DivX film Cheaper by the Dozen expecting nothing more than a failure. I figured that I was ill during the first 10 minutes of the film. This DivX film Cheaper by the Dozen is based on the 1946 novel by Frank Gilbreth Jr. Act and the plot is about a father and a mother raising 12 children. Along the way, many unexpected things happen hilarious. At first, I thought the story was great. Is better than the original DVD film Cheaper by the Dozen and is even more original than the first movie. The fact was so. The chemistry between all the players is very good. Steve Martin is a perfect fit for this role. Bonnie Hunt and all the guys did a good job too. The only thing was messy Ashton Kutcher. He was not very good, but that is all that is wrong. I recommend this movie. I rate this Cheaper by the Dozen Family film a 8 / 10. |
| As a child, I loved the book and read, "cheaper by the dozen, so waiting for a rented movie: Cheaper by the Dozen on the screen adaptation of the book. I think the only similarity is the title and the fact that they have 12 children. The Cheaper by the Dozen Family is a book of enormous injustice. Expectations aside, the DivX Movie Cheaper by the Dozen has some plot holes, but I would have appreciated this kind of movie, if I was a father in search of a movie. This reminds me of the old classic Disney rented my family when I was small. I am sure that children love the disorder and destruction that seemed to be the focal point of the film. They tried to put too many sub-plots when they could have focused strictly on family dynamics and had a great movie. I'm glad I rented and not spend $ $ at the theater. |
| At least the number of children was the same as the real story. This Cheaper by the Dozen Family has no real similarities other than the number of children portrayed in the original version of 1950 which is based in Scripture and in real life the story of Frank Bunker Gilbreth, Sr. and Lillian Moller Gilbreth family and children for his writings Frank Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. This is another example of Hollywierds attempt to portray men as incompetent and Bumbling Stooges and the Strong Women as heroic family member. Tolerate misconduct and discipline children without the hope of growing to normal well adjusted adults Hollywierd is a fantasy. Women were underrepresented in the past, it is true in many films, but never any kind of injustice has been remedied by taking turns in it, nor ever. The plot is completely 'new' history that has the same name as the 1950 DVD movie Cheaper by the Dozen is weak. The act is nothing more than good. The "new" history is the same as most modern versions of California, the typical family life in the afternoon and early 21st century now. Hollywood has run out of ideas and too many movies Remakes, bad in my opinion. I guess that must be prepared to enjoy the film: Cheaper by the Dozen version of Father knows best, and Al Frankin starring Madonna, Brittany Spears and ICE "something or other '2006! |
