| Well, what a stupid thing, by God! Psychiatric Hospital, which is closer to the hell of Dante, a new doctor coming to her, a strange series of murders, and a final loco / explanation ... The script seems to have been written by a group of enthusiasts, the characters are just ridiculous, and I do not even have one fear that is worth seeing. The guy who directed "Madhouse" should focus on making videos of Marilyn Manson or the like. Most of the actors are (well deserved) unknown, except for Lance Henrikssen (I guess you have to make some money occasionally. I always wonder why the hell do I end up seeing this type of sub-products ... but never learn my lesson. Believe me, do not waste your time on this piece of sh * t. Spain was recently published in a DVD movie Madhouse called "Hipnos", no big deal either, but it is far better Madhouse Thriller movie and the story is quite similar to the Madhouse. | The first time I rented this movie, expecting only the typical cheese-low-budget B movie, but was surprised to discover a good Madhouse Thriller movie that could have played in first run theaters. Basically, a young psychiatric intern comes to this haven abstract mental hospital and discovers a chamber of horrors. There is a mysterious boy / ghost running loose in the hospital (unfortunately, the name of this actor was missing from the credits) and a string of murders that take place, as the trainee attempts to reconstruct what is happening. Several recognizable stars (as Lance Henrickson) in the film, most of which had small parts in favor of lesser known actors. There was a lot of bloodshed in this film, and a very good turn in the plot towards the end of the DVD film Madhouse that makes all previously difficult to follow the crystal clear to the viewer as the identity of the murderer is reality. |
| I am only going to summarize the plot in one sentence, because there is not much of a plot. A young male of starting work in a mental mechanism to know there are some strange things ... There is not much that you are working on the film, so let's start with the few good parts. The manager is played by Lance Henriksen. His performance is the only acceptable, nothing stellar, but when you are around almost a second to think that this is a real movie, not a ridiculous pseudo-movie. Another thing that works is almost the gore is not Georg Romero, Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci, but the few areas where there is a little gore is not bad, it is even almost convincing. Take the wrong time. The arrangement achieves visual summon a single word that is repeated in your head throughout the movie: cheap. The dialogue is better in the beginning but somewhere after the first 20 minutes mutates into something that comes from a 10-year-old mind. The dialogue is so incredibly bad, I kept rolling my eyes during most of the film. Ditto for the action, if one can call it that ... A good horror DVD film Madhouse creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and tension. A good horror DivX film Madhouse can keep you scared after the Madhouse movie has ended. Madhouse managed anything like that, but relies on a few times of economic crisis that could scare you. | I think it's good to know that at least one member of the Blair Witch trio is still getting work. As it is. Here, we have Josh Leonard to his work as an intern in a psychiatric hospital that appears to respect codes of health until mid-19th century. Patients run amok; Josh keeps rare to see a child out of the corner of your eye, oh, and Natasha Lyonne is acting nutty. Moreover, as an added bonus, the general manager of the hospital is the Bishop of "Aliens." See, perfectly kosher. The best thing about the performance of Josh comes to making puppy-dog eyes to Jordan Ladd, aka the blond chick "cabin fever". (Never mind that his character seems to have some concerns, too. But we will not go there now. You can not spoil the plot elements, Y'know.) Anyway, so the murders begin to happen, the bishop was suspiciously keen on events, and Josh has kooky conversation with one of the patients in the high security wing. Who is the murderer, what is real, blah, blah, blah. And the answers to these questions? That is, nobody cares. Suffice it to say that this is just the latest horror film: Madhouse used by Keyser Soze little twist ending that is not supposed to see that we are coming. But what we do. |
