By an opposing di dollari / a fistful of dollars (1964) Sergio Leone was the first Western, and the Fistful of Dollars, A movie that made Clint Eastwood an international star. This remake of Yojimbo has moments, but ultimately does not reach the level of Akira Kurosawa's classic. Duels in the DivX Movie Fistful of Dollars, A fast, fast, and none of the poetic style of his later western. Clint Eastwood does a good job of playing the man without a name. Man with no name is to play a major influence on the action movies of the 1980s and 1990s. It is similar in plot to Django (1966), but not so stylized or mythical. It is not as complete as per qualche Dollars In PI / For a few dollars more (1965), Il Buono Il Brutto Il cattivo / The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (1966), and C'era a volta il West / Once Upon A Time In the West (1969). The DVD film Fistful of Dollars, A remains an enjoyable film: Fistful of Dollars, A to watch. I consider this movie: Fistful of Dollars, A the start of a progression of Sergio Leone as he went to a very good western (a fistful of dollars) to make a great West (Once Upon A Time In the West). A fistful of dollars (1964) will start a wave of titles in Italy, where many people were doing a lot of spaghetti westerns. |
"A fistful of dollars" is a wonderful DivX Movie Fistful of Dollars, A that, despite having a huge track fans around the world, is sometimes unfairly dismissed in my opinion. For two reasons - first, because the second and the third movie: Fistful of Dollars, A in Leone / Eastwood "Man with no name" trilogy ( "For a few dollars more" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly") is very very good easy to overlook this. Despite being made on a budget, and much less ambitious than the sequels to follow, is still one of the greatest westerns ever made in my opinion. The second reason is Yojimbo thing. Now, Fistful of Dollars, A movie buffs often slam "a fistful of dollars" of Kurosawa as a snatch of "Yojimbo", which I think is very misleading. I'm not disputing that he was familiar with Leone Kurosawa (I have no idea one form or another), but a name you rarely hear about anyone Dashiel Hammett. Hammett hard boiled crime classic "Red Harvest" was published thirty years before "Yojimbo" and features the same premise of a central anti - hero playing two rival groups against each other. So if anyone deserves recognition as an uncredited inspiration for Leone (Y Kurosawa) is Hammett. Anyway, this is a brilliant Fistful of Dollars, A film and launched Clint Eastwood, a popular television actor in a major Fistful of Dollars, A Western movie star and Sergio Leone put on the map. I can not recommend a fistful of dollars "very little is pure entertainment, and very, very cool! |
A classic. The first, or one of the first films to introduce the concept of the Western antihero. Sergio Leone was a pioneer in many things here. Brightness, sunlight oppressive. The brutality of ugly Western shootings, which has always been cleaned in Hollywood. I understand that occasional development Leone shooter and the victims in the shooting was not allowed at the time when American films. I thought, seeing this DVD movie Fistful of Dollars, A years ago, that some characters (Eastwood), speaking in English, Italian and other characters. Who knows, maybe some spoke Spanish or German. Should make for an interesting acting job. I seldom notice of a music of the film, but the original score by Ennio Morricone was so timely. Probably the best Fistful of Dollars, A film and music so far, and only surpassed by Hugh Montenegro (?) In "The Good, the bad and the ugly." A very good film. Grade: A |
