| Let me begin by saying that I am a fan of Way of the Peaceful Warrior, and much of what is in the book is in the movie. But we have to look at this as something more than the writings of Dan Millman. In a Peaceful Warrior film there are some real problems here. First, its main character is completely unlike. No time to get an emotional attachment to Dan, as presented in movies is a power-most do not like an idiot. Secondly, the Peaceful Warrior Drama is weak in history. Have to "Rocky" moment, but that mattered Rocky. The Peaceful Warrior Drama is so intent on delivering the little pearls of wisdom that we are all looking for ways, as it is through a recitation of a whole must know for a final exam. There are good points. It's nice to see attempts being made to create this movie. It has some really good music to your score. I would not recommend it to someone who has not read the book. I would recommend someone to read the book and then see the peaceful warrior. |
| A truly inspirational Peaceful Warrior Drama movie that relate to the entire world can in some way. This film: Peaceful Warrior will not please everyone because it is so, a movie: Peaceful Warrior about self-awareness is not a typical "go out on a Friday night to be fun" type of movie. It is not just about athletes, anyone can relate to it. I take this Peaceful Warrior Drama movie for what it is, do not read too far into the message and you can enjoy it. Some people are saying it's a cheesy Peaceful Warrior Drama film with a message too much, but I say that people do not even see the Peaceful Warrior Drama what it is. We may not talk to them and perhaps their expectations are off. The message is not played more, and there needs to be more films of this genre coming. |
| I was so excited when I read that a Peaceful Warrior Drama film was made of this great book. I really wanted to like this movie. Very little time was devoted to Dan actual journey. The premonitions of Socrates missing, so Dan has no reason to be intrigued at the service station. What happened to teaching the importance of humor? And why the scene in the shower free? Why do you always look angry Dan - especially after his enlightenment - if approached an appliance? That was supposed to be at peace (even if his message to his coach is a "show you" - which defeats the purpose of freeing the ego). Too much screen time for guys with shirts off there. And after the film: Peaceful Warrior school of television - it was terrible, like a Peaceful Warrior movie of this very special book - a great disappointment. |
