| I thought the DivX film SherryBaby includes a great screen play and was a great vehicle for each player to develop their characters. The story can not be totally original, but I think that's an advantage because it is the telling of history through each of the characters that makes it an achievement. Seldom does a SherryBaby Drama so strong protagonists and antagonists and allow viewers to identify with each truth. I enjoyed watching the raw tension between characters that might be related to personal, as my family was involved in the foster care system for many years to grow. I think some more may want to put a definitive end, but for me it is more about the journey and the struggles therein. I would recommend this movie: SherryBaby for those who want to see a seemingly familiar story in a unique way. |
| Maggie Gyllenhaal is one of the best players in America and that brings a baby SHERRY performance is gut wrenching, painful to see, but is a character which is embedded throughout the film. In the last frame feels your pain and the imperative that she wants to have a life that is better than it has given rise. SHERRY BABY reminds me of Ryan Gosling in Half Nelson in the struggle to overcome drugs and make something of your life. Jerez shame that has to keep this dark, long road before they can enter their own and move beyond its painful past. The only scene in the SherryBaby Drama with the father's birthday party will stay with me forever, and now you can fully understand your pain and anguish. Maggie Gyllenhaal its prize should be reminded of the season as Sherry is a character that stays with you for a long time and is someone who makes you want to like, respect and help her get a new life. | There is one reason and one reason only to see 'Sherrybaby', and that is for Maggie Gyllenhaal tour-de-force performance. Gyllenhaal gives his best performance to date as Sherry, a heroin addict / thief on parole who struggles to stay clean and re-ignite a relationship with an extraordinary five-year-old daughter. Everything else in the movie: SherryBaby is mediocre at best. The other actors are good, but none of them have a function with sufficient substance to the special fund. 'Sherrybaby' is not an easy movie: SherryBaby to see, is painfully realistic, and I felt incredibly embarrassed by Gyllenhaal Sherry throughout the film. It is also somewhat predictable. Long story short, 'Sherrybaby' would be nothing without the pioneering Gyllenhaal and tear-jerking performance. Grade: B |
| I have a breakdown of the characters. I think we have not included saboteurs. If you do not want to know my opinion about the characters, then do not read my mail. * * * * I also saw him in Park City. I thought it was very dark and emotional. The heaviness of those who actually play me for a day or less. I feel the actors were excellent and the realism of this kind of life at the forefront. I think this is a true story and if it has no happy ending that Hollywood, not an end in itself and so provide a sense of closure at the end. Maggie Gyllenhaal seems to give its full and I felt as if she was credible. Sam plays a chilling Funds, however, is so good at it, and makes you have a strong feeling of disgust. It's nice to see Danny Trejo playing a nice guy and talented young man who plays Alexis was great to see. His scenes were so natural and real, you see a connection between her and Maggie. He also believed that the actor playing the detective came across very real. Overall I feel the SherryBaby Drama was great. It really moved me. Documentary as well, where even closer to touch people's lives. I loved the scene with the children in daycare. They were adorable. |
