| What could have been an excellent film, unfortunately suffers from some bad DVD movie Stigmata cliches used (even if someone is from the image of someone's blood pouring red wine, I swear I'm gonna scream!) And - even worse - the stupid mistakes. Imagine, for example, that you are a priest and you have this woman with stigmata who does not believe in God, why does not the existence of a rosary in your house? (Or is it another DVD movie Stigmata cliche that the key would reveal all that is only when considered appropriate that the story was discovered?) All this is very unfortunate because "Stigmata" had a lot of potential and quality in the same (and not forgetting a very good Patricia Arquette). What could have been an "exorcist" in the next generation, which now comes out like a movie. And that's a damn shame. |
| Before you start - I liked the movie, was good (my excuse, but the lack of vocabulary to describe the movie, I could say it was pleasant, well-executed/great would be lying), I can give a scathing review, but apparently is not representative of my feelings, it's just the way it came out. Go see it. Expecting otherwise exorcist style horror Stigmata Horror movie that should be interesting to see, if only because critics panne, I was pleasantly surprised to find an entertaining, almost spiritual intelligent romp. I should note that it is so fun to watch for blatant allusions to other films of similar nature, the director is a thief and is not suitable in their craft. Do not get me wrong, I enjoyed it, although at some points NAFF, for example. dehydrated his demonic face. What is the problem, fix the leaks Pat - I'm sure it bothers too. I felt the performance was quite good, apart from Jonathan Pryce, an actor who is worthy of Sunset Beach (you know who still bloody terrible addiction soap). It has a plot to carry out was beaten by the machine itself that creates every predictable plot - I say again that was fun. Brave, but stupid way to attack the hypocrisy of the Church. | Looks like 2000, only led to another Stigmata film with the religious, or in this case, religious plot. The general premise of the DVD movie Stigmata might not be original, but it has its special effects and stunning visuals. It also raises some questions for the religious community, in this case, Christians (Roman Catholics in this film), and maybe the Jews too. States that to think that maybe just is suggested as the final. It also discusses some of the inner workings of the Church and man - the politics that go behind the walls of Vatican City (quite sinister - really puts the Church in general in bad light), and the emotions of a man who jury is a life of celibacy and starts getting emotionally attached to the girl who is investigating. |
