Paul Blake is a 34-year-old farmer who was once a star high-school football player, one of the best quarterbacks in Texas. Paul was forced to drop out of sight when his father died, leaving Paul with the family farm to run. Now, after a 16-year absence, he's lured back to football by his former coach, Wally 'Rig' Riggendorf. Rig has recently been hired as assistant coach to head coach Ed Gennero, who has been hired by Texas State University to turn around the Texas State Armadillos — a team that was placed on probation for corruption, and university president Carver Purcell wants results as soon as possible. The team that Gennero and Rig assemble includes a military fanatic who admires General Schwarzkopf, a physics instructor, a swift martial-arts champ named Eric 'Samorai' Hansen, Andre Krimm, and a female kicker named Lucy Draper. On the field, Paul does his best to get himself back into shape, while he has to overcome the awkwardness he feels about attending college classes at his age. And Paul finds himself attracted to journalism professor Suzanne Carter. Paul, Gennero, also have to deal with Dean Phillip Elias, who wants to scrap the university's football program, and the Armadillos are out to beat the almost impossible odds of winning at least one game this season.

This is a very good movie, and Scott Bakula has always been one of my favorite actors. I first saw this DivX film Necessary Roughness on television as a child and recently recorded a DVD in the bargain bin and only saw him again. It has gotten better with age. I love the concept of this film, and having been a college athlete myself, I understand the NCAA sanctions and the pitfalls of growing inside a world of sport, which made this Necessary Roughness movie even more enjoyable for me. In the course of this DivX film Necessary Roughness is Texas State University football team (time defending national champions of the two) suffer through a plethora of NCAA violations and losing the fellowship of all players, coaches and allowances their games. The new coach recruits 35 years old with a year that, if I had gone to college attitude, and quickly meets and falls for her teacher of journalism, before she realized that he was not faculty, but one of his students. It's fun to watch this Necessary Roughness Comedy and wonder "what if" as if this really happened in this sense how a team prevail.

This is an absolutely hilarious Necessary Roughness Comedy that I recommend anyone. Certainly, it has the same basic plot of any sports DVD movie Necessary Roughness that has come in the last 20 years (group ragtags come together to form a team to defeat a bigger, bad equipment, etc.), but not so high energy in all actions, and dialogue is so full of joy that does not matter. How many "comedies" have come out recently that only contain a few jokes, each surrounded by tons of drilling and development of the fabric of meaning that do not add up to anything. For anyone tired of this, we urge you too look at this very underrated Necessary Roughness Comedy film full of dialogue, which is refreshing and fun throughout the journey. Movies like this are what is great comedy.

First year of college football with a 34 years old to play? (Scott Bakula) a science teacher HUGE gamble? (The always fun Simbad) A rich boy who gets the trust of 34 years of age? (Jason Bateman) The Greek-Australian best looking I've seen and probably the smallest in football? (Louis Mandylor) I bought this DVD thinking it would be another major league. Well, it was a little dry, but funny. When kids leave GIANT in the field of prison (The Refrigerator, Too-Tall, etc.) you wonder how and why, but it is only for "hardening" your computer. The roughness is required! See this for laughs, especially in football season. And ladies, there is something for U.S. in these sports movies! It's your choice!

Roughness required is a fun DVD film Necessary Roughness if not taken too seriously can be very pleasant. The worst team in the first Texas State is a team with most "non-athletes" that emerged after the school opened on evidence. All the team championship last year had been suspended for violations. Scott Bakula plays a competent middle-age as a college athlete. Sinbad adds some fun to the story as an "old sport." Kathy Ireland, while not the actress, not to add some eye candy to the film. I also like this DVD movie Necessary Roughness in this rag-tag team fails to live up to be # 1 or whatever to a championship game. The "big game" of this DVD film Necessary Roughness is when the State of Texas plays # 1 ranked college team. The Necessary Roughness film is full of laughter, a touch of drama and writing script and competent actors. View on a Sunday afternoon when nothing else is on.
