| Although not without a couple of problems [as the pace], Prance is one of the best family / holiday movies I've seen. I did not see this until after I saw Prance back a week ago in the cable. After RETURNS Prance [the sequel to this] was over, I went to the video store and rent this. While this now appears to have a smaller budget VUELVE Prance, yet is so well acted and heart [if not more so]. The majority of holiday movies tend to show the holidays as a time when everything is perfect, but this shows that the holidays are not as perfect as we would like them to be. Is able to capture the vagaries of the holiday while keeping everything very close to reality. Although I liked the movie, Christmas holidays is still my favorite holiday movie. |
| This is one of the best contemporary Christmas movies made. A sincere and sweet film, but that will not give you tooth decay. Rebecca Harrell is one of the most credible and intelligent performance as a young girl who nurses an injured reindeer back to health and the belief that the reindeer is indeed Prance. Sam Elliot gives a strong performance as the girl's apple farmer father who has fallen on hard times and is trying to raise his children without a mother. The landscape of this DVD film Prancer is beautiful farms and woodlands and the film: Prancer gives a true feeling of Christmas. A very simple plot fuels the film, but it grows surprisingly dark and deep as the Prancer film progresses and will be tugging at your heart strings by their conclusion. Highly recommended for children and adults, and all believers of Santa Claus. |
| "Prance" is a girl, Jessica Riggs, who unexpectedly finds a wounded reindeer, whom she believes belongs to Santa. With her father under the financial pressure, and ignored her a lot, she has a hard time. She wants to care for him and the nurse, but must do so in secret because his father is against it and could kill at any time. They often have less fights and arguments with his father in relation to family matters and his own life. Meanwhile, its duty is to take good care of it Prance. Jessica Riggs was the role played by Rebecca Harrell, and she must have been the perfect child to do the role. His natural attitude children have nothing better, and that was seen in the film. I still remember myself crying while watching a little like a child. Still brings tears to my eyes while watching even today. I advise those who want to see this DVD movie Prancer to see around Christmas, and that would be the right time .... And believe me, you will not be disappointed. |
