| Comments on brave are horrible. That seems to be a big mistake, I personally loved the movie, it's bigger mistake was the lack of a good target, it's a bit silly animated Valiant Adventure movie with fart jokes and such children, but it has in my view three times as many adult jokes about World War 2. In fact I think there may be more like my brothers who are 12 and 6. It has some hilarious cracks on Hitler and D-Day, which is usually something I find impossible to laugh. The short (76 minutes) running time is only for the Valiant film just because there are many jokes that can be done without offending anyone and never tries to use more than once. The plot is full of holes, but is perfect to make all the jokes. The script has some good dialogue and takes all the great jokes. The voice talents are great. The Valiant film is well directed, but could have been better. The film: Valiant is well animated. |
| I just do not want to see this World War II were the stories and the concept of enemy films. Filmed thousands of times its just basically obsolete and no longer funny or inventive. Even the jokes are always the same, sorry. To be fair: In this film: Valiant the characters are nice - anyway. Are worth launch (maybe just once). Simple entertainment is superficial, mainly related to war, presumably with gags that children can not understand. I have no idea if the kids enjoy it, besides the beautiful birds. Technical background is a delight: well-designed wheels with animated figures and a weak and some beautiful scenes of flight. |
| This is a British animated comedy Valiant-pigeon is ready to "The Royal Pigeon Message Service" of the Second World War. Hawks are the Luftwaffe German and French animal strength is in the hands of the Rats! Overall impression is rather like Chicken Run, this is only done with computer animation. Has become a habit for animations to contain a lot of references to other movies and pop culture in general, so that adults can have their own fun, while their children laugh at characters animated antics. This Valiant film makes no exception in this regard. But this excellent mix. Additional credit given to those responsible for World War II because it can be considered as a-little-more difficult than usual for a guy-movie. The cast is excellent. Especially Ricky Gervais' character Bugsy felt so alive that you almost expected to break through the shell of an animated character and become visible on the screen. This is not just voice, but the animation feature of delicacy, however. There are no songs disturbing storytelling and there is mild violence (well, there is war, right?), So this might not be the best option for very young children? Shrek does not, but rather a hilarious little DivX film Valiant for children and adults alike! |
| It is a brave effort in an animated film. Without the budget of an American Valiant Adventure movie this British DivX film Valiant does well. It is based on the role of pigeons in the Second World War. The animations are delicious, is the voice cast for a change. Ricky Gervais makes it fun rather lengthy turn as Ewan mcgregors friend. Although perhaps the animations are not as extensive as others such as Finding Nemo, the humor is still evident. This Valiant Adventure could have been longer, it makes you feel a bit short changed. Its nice to see an animated Valiant Adventure with UK specific features, I think this DVD film Valiant will be shown repeatedly treated as a Christmas Valiant Adventure on TV. There are funny moments and this movie: Valiant is probably best for children. |
| I just returned from taking my daughter for 4 years to see brave. She really enjoyed it. It is not heavy or dark, although the DivX Movie Valiant is set in WWII. The enemy looked and sounded all wrong, and menacing. It was not a bad film, but not a great Valiant Adventure film either. But one point worth mentioning. I think films like Brave must rely on the box office if not for yet another reason to show support for the G rated movies. As a parent, I would really appreciate the movies and Hollywood to produce more of these light, G rated movies that I can take my children to see. No apparent sex, no foul language, not tearing apart bodies, only joyful fun. Its just a shame that movies like Brave are the exception rather than the rule. |
| You never know what will be a success until it arrives. The reason for this computer-animated Disney demise is simple: to have strayed from the formula of Disney. There are mysterious characters, a story, and great animation. There are amazing pictures, a great story and some innovative ideas. But ... was not fun. In fact, it is neither fun nor funny. Most Disney fans are willing to learn a moral lesson, always sit with popcorn and Kiddies to see Disney's latest adventure, but are also ready to laugh, have fun and enjoy family time. Unfortunately fails to deliver brave in the three key areas. Frankly, this movie: Valiant of the Second World War did not even manage to mobilize patriotism! The images are amazing and the story is great, but there is enough talent in any way to make this a "good" Valiant Adventure movie from Disney. How is it?
