| I was lucky to see this Modigliani movie in Paris, where the Modigliani movie first released in the cinemas. I was very impressed by the brilliant and performances by Andy García Elsa Zylberstein, and the rest of the cast. Andy García is a very versatile and very talented actor. You may already know this story is about the last years of the Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani in Paris, established in 1919. However, this DVD film Modigliani has a new approach and new ideas, and is not a film: Modigliani biography of normal. The spirit of Paris at this period comes to life in this film. All those involved in this Modigliani Drama film worked with passion and love is actually a main theme of this movie. I quite enjoyed seeing this Modigliani Drama movie and I hope this Modigliani Drama movie will be widely known and many people can see it. We are surrounded by all these great movies today and it is so nice to see Modigliani, a real gem. |
| I really liked the movie. beautiful shot and the acting is great and also account for the beautiful story of this painter. Of course, if you're not in "art" of this DVD film Modigliani is not something for you, but if you like a movie: Modigliani that is not a Hollywood blockbuster, and if you like Garcia, I am sure you will like the movie. Andy García is much the only star in the DivX film Modigliani but it gives the Modigliani Drama a degree of credibility. Had it not been for many a Listers, the Modigliani film would not have worked as it does now. Although the Modigliani Drama is set in 1920-1930 there is also a part of the modern (the scene where everyone is painting their masterpieces in the exhibition hall with some of the background music is great!). So if you want to see a real actor in the DivX Movie Modigliani check it! |
| This DVD movie Modigliani should be considered an "art" Modigliani Drama - not a commercial DVD film Modigliani and that has to do with different eyes. Taking that tone - it was thoroughly and enjoy the scenery, costumes and art direction was great. The casting and acting was excellent and credible, but some scenes were drawn too. If the edition was a little better we would have a real winner. But I can not recommend this DivX film Modigliani to anyone who loves art and painting. That truly represents the feelings of the artists and how they lived. It is going to see - You'll enjoy it! |
| It took a while for me to enter it, but in the end I liked it a lot. Could have been more consistent and seamless - the casting was so-so. In the first part of the DivX Movie Modigliani the intensity of the characters not found, but as the film: Modigliani progressed, especially near the end, emotions were more convincing and credible. The music is possibly the most passionate and moving around the case - I hope a soundtrack is released. I liked the games, the costumes and the DVD film Modigliani was quite good. The issue is of particular interest to me as I am an artist. It is probably not for everyone, and definitely not for those who like the formula, action movies. |
| I love the work of Modigliani, so I was excited to see this movie. Unfortunately, it proved to be disappointing. While Andy García is a good actor, is an unconvincing Modigliani - looked too clean, well fed and robust for (most) of the movie! The music was soft, terrible and out of place, rather than enhance the experience, became the most cheesy scenes, sentimental and trite. The end was too prepared, and only made the Modigliani Drama more sentimental and cliché. Jane speaks of her intense love for Modigliani at the beginning and end of the film, but really just get to even see that - his character is flat. Accordingly, these "dramatic scenes" of her love for him goes as designed and ineffective. Another thing I liked was the way the characters spoke. As noted above critical, from different languages and accents at the drop of a hat .. that was weird. American English accents to Europe to European languages. It is annoying. However, I liked Elsa Zylberstein as Jeanne. She looked like a Modigliani painting. A good place where he was visited by Modigliani and Picasso Renoir, as was the venue where the exhibition of Picasso, one of the paintings of Modigliani shown. But overall, I think the Modigliani film was trying too hard to be dramatic, artistic, and decadent, and does not really achieve anything.
