On January 23, 2002, Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl is to fly from Karachi to Dubai with his pregnant wife, Mariane, also a reporter. First, I must say something about Angelina Jolie: she gave an admirable performance in this wonderful and heartfelt film, and certainly not deserve all the terrible things people have accused her and the filmmakers do, namely to be racist participating in "blackfacing. Mariane Pearl asked Jolie to portray her, and that is that. This is a poignant Mighty Heart, A movie that does not make us pity Mariane Pearl, but we can admire for his strength and courage. Although the Mighty Heart, A movie brought tears to the eyes, is not one of those sob stories with the intention to be a tear - Terror. It is not too brutal, or showing the trauma of the event experienced by Mariane Pearl, without the true horror of the public unnecessarily. Great supporting performances also Archie Panjabi and Irfan Khan.
