| A good animated action / comedy for the whole family. Yankee Irving (Jake T. Austin) is a ten-year baseball fan who loves the New York Yankees. After all, his father works for them. The child with a problem of self-esteem is in an enviable position, not exactly. Babe Ruth as witnesses for prized bat Darlin (Whoopi Goldberg) is stolen during the 1932 World Series. With the help of a bad ball named Screwie '(Rob Reiner), Yankee follows the thief, Lefty (William H. Macy), all the way to Chicago to rescue the bat and return to The Babe. Other voices include Brian Dennehy, Forest Whitaker, Robert Wagner, Joe Torre and Raven-Symone. |
| This is a fun Everyone's Hero Animation film for the 5-9 years. 5 years my son laughed out loud and wanted to see again and again. And baseball considered to be quite funny. Rob Riener voices should do more animated. The argument was a good argument for a child to follow and entertainment for adults who need to sit through the film. It has a nice moral particular fiver years that seem to identify with their limitations. The message is trying to maintain a high morale for young children need to hear more often. The DivX Movie Everyone's Hero was a great character voices are not ill and frightened many children ... my two years of age, is not frightened at all by the "bad guys". I would recommend that for any parent. I want some bad words like stupid not part of the film: Everyone's Hero and I want my five years of age has not heard in a G-rated, but otherwise very clean. |
| Great story. It often makes you laugh and sometimes makes mourn (well, maybe the most sentimental of us). Bring the warm feeling of the old days of baseball. I am no great fan of the game, but still loved the mood of the picture. Characters prepared. He was pleasantly surprised to see the good that computer animation is not really coming from Pixar. You acknowledge the reality behind the characters, not only for voice, but his appearance, which is always fun. Richard Kind is a copy of itself. I'd like to change the title because it does not reflect the main idea of animation, but that is not an excellent Everyone's Hero Animation film all around. Both of my kids (5 and 8 years), my wife and I loved it. |
| My wife and I took our 3 years of age and to see the three of us enjoyed. The animation was amazing ... the story is great and amazing message that gives the Everyone's Hero movie is applicable not only in children's lives, but it is something that we (adults) can adopt as their own "theme." I had no idea that Chris Reeve directed this DVD film Everyone's Hero until the end credits. I see now that he died while working on it. His wife and son also was in the voices. Undoubtedly it was very refreshing to see a story like this after being bombarded by all those animals animated movies that seem to be a dime a dozen-lately. I think we need more family shows of this caliber. I can not wait to see it again. |
| I was not really expecting much when I saw the trailer for this movie. I thought it would be a good movie. And a little fun with the characters and humor. That's how I like such movies. And this was a very good movie. It's a little tedious but fun movie. A great adventure of Yankee Irving, a boy who wants to play baseball. But when a thief steals Babe Ruth's bat, going on a journey to get back the bat of Babe and the rest is for you to know. And give some seven tediousness but it is still fun and enjoyable for the family. |
