This story is a narration from an Australian man who falls in love with two kinds of Candy: a woman of the same name and heroin. The narrator changes from a smart-aleck to someone trying to find a vein to inject, while Candy changes from an actress, call girl, streetwalker, and then a madwoman. Starting in Sydney, the two eventually end up in Melbourne to go clean, but they fail. This leads them to turn to finding money and heroin, while other posessions and attachments become unimportant.

I was very moved by this film, I found exciting and painful at the same time. All the scenes powerfully encapsulate the stages of addiction, starry-eyed start to despair and victimization of a need that can not be satisfied, but must be obeyed with both drugs and the others. The desperation of two people trying to make sense of a world they have created and maintained through the use of drugs, of isolation and withdrawal of cases of potential and, finally, here it is sparing nothing. That have captured something beautiful and unique, very conscious of the next trap that awaits them is so beautifully depicted here is not difficult to sympathize with all the characters, even at their most desperate, understanding where they come from and what drives them . Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish work well together, and my respect for Heath Ledger has been restored in full after some horrible roles since the two hands.

I saw this Candy Drama film yesterday at the Berlin Film Festival. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. the issue of drug addiction has been before, but the players really high on this piece outstanding.i something never seen before, but she knew Heath Ledger and was quite impressed with him. Brokeback Mountain has not been published only in Germany, but judging by the results in the books of this DivX film Candy that I'm even more excited to see soon. Rush was pretty good too, but this DivX film Candy really belongs to the main actors. more devastating to me was the scene where sweet abortion. it was really shocking and poignant at the same time. There is no happy ending here (expected) but still found the film: Candy to be very rewarding to see. Definitely worth seeing!
